Ms Cosmo new single #Connect gets some cool traction

Ms Cosmo has released a new single titled #Connect. The track features the talent of Rouge, Kwesta, and Nasty C. The 5FM host of The Stir UP show is making waves with her track as it is being well received by the local hip hop scene.

Stogie T’s verse of the month made a special mention of Nasty C’s hook on the track on the Slikour On Life blog.  #Connect was produced by Gemini Major. The track is all about getting together as friends, making new friends, and having fun while you are at it. The hook is all about extending an olive branch to his friends of course damning his haters.

The Stogie T Verse of the Month featured eight verses taken from songs released last month. Kwesta took the number seven spot and Rouge took the number two spot both for what they did on #Connect, Ms Cosmo’s debut single. She also received special kudos from Stogie T for keeping the Hip Hop culture alive, after she also hosted #LeFemmeRemix for DJ Switch’s Now or Never last year.

The hip hop DJ is having a good year so far with her single gaining traction on social media and being playlisted on national radio. You can catch #Connect playing on stations like YFM, 5FM, & Ligwalagwala FM. You can event tweet about it and ask your favourite station to play it if they haven’t.
