Mo Flava Bursaries – 10 up for grabs

There are ten Mo Flava bursaries being given away to deserving students who are interested in studying at Boston Media House. In order to qualify you have to have a diploma entry matric certificate.

The objective behind the Mo Flava bursaries is to motivate those looking to work in various aspects of the media industry to gain a tertiary education. The misguided notion that good looks or a good voice will be enough to make it is what he is attempting to scrap out.

“Whether someone wants to be on radio as a host or producer, on TV, or as a journalist, it is important to understand the craft and sciences behind these fields and what it takes to be excellent, just like anyone trying to studying and get into finance or accounting for example” said Mo Flava.

He wants to “change that perception and break stereotypes that to get into the Media industry one does not need to study”.

If you are interested in auditioning for one of the Mo Flava bursaries you will have the opportunity to interview/audition at the campus. These will be held at the Boston Media House Sandton and Pretoria campuses during the Boston Media House open day which will be running from the 16th to the 30th of January.

Mo Flava will be running all the auditions personally and you can catch him between 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM.

The open days will also include an “Ask Me Anything” session, where a panel of industry experts will be sharing their knowledge and experience with anyone interested.
