Miguel Campbell plays Twisted Disco at Truth this weekend
UK born house producer Miguel Campbell arrives in South Africa this week for Twisted Disco at Truth Nightclub in the Midrand. The event is being held in their recently renovated club space, Room Four on Friday, 4th December and the event promises some real classic house and disco influenced music around.
Miguel Campbell has been around the UK house scene for more than a minute and was one half of underground production duo HCB.
A defining moment was the founding of his own imprint, Outcross Records back in 2006, and his forming of the partnership with Matt Hughes to for MAM. Together they remixed the likes of Imany, Deadmau5 and Flight Facilities, as well as putting out releases via Wolf+Lamb, Future Classic and on Outcross.
Another defining moment for Miguel Campbell was when he joined the Hot Creations team in 2010. Recent remixes for Basement Jaxx, RÜFÜS & Etienne De Crecy have all added to his impressive resume as he continues to spread his brand of funk infused house music. He also had a big hit with the track ‘Something Special.’
Twisted Disco is certainly going to bring the funk this Friday!!!
Local acts Pop Art Live, Chasing Space, The Kiffness and Alex Dalais are all guaranteed crowd pleasers that have the funk to create a ‘Twisted Disco.’
