3rd Midem African Forum coming to Langa, Cape Town
The Midem African Forum 2020 will be held at the Bridges For Music Academy in Langa, Cape Town.
Midem’s third African Forum is coming to the Bridges For Music Academy in Langa, Cape Town on Friday, 28 February 2020. This enriching forum will include keynote talks, masterclasses and workshops attended by more than 400 industry professionals including labels, streaming platforms, publishers, artists, politicians, media, and official institutions.
The objective: To support the structuring and internationalisation of the African music industry, encouraging business development and new talent discovery by boosting know-how and pushing boundaries.
It aims to create a strong hub of collaboration in order to not only address the industry’s major issues but also to celebrate its breakthroughs.

Director of Midem, Alexandre Deniot, is leading the speakers. Under his guidance, Midem has become the benchmark event for the development of the music sector in the face of challenges including changes in technology and business models.
