Metro police shut down the Da L.E.S exclusive all white party [VIDEO]
This year’s annual Da L.E.S exclusive all white party was shut down by the metro police. The much lauded and purposefully exclusive event was unceremoniously ended on Saturday afternoon.
The Da L.E.S exclusive all white party took place at his Bryanston home. All of his guests were dressed in their fresh, all white clothes and out of nowhere their fun was brought to an abrupt halt.
The reason for the shutdown was due to the fact that the party planners had allegedly not acquired the correct permit to host the event.
“Anyone who has any event in the city has to apply to the City of Johannesburg before the event. The All White Party did not have a permit and therefore could not be allowed to go ahead,” said Metro police spokesperson, Edna Mamonyane to TshisaLIVE.
Eager to salvage the reputation of the Da L.E.S exclusive all white party, Da L.E.S promised that the event wasn’t cancelled but merely postponed.
“The party’s been moved due to unforseen circumstances, the official date for the 8th annual All White Pool Party is February 18 and we got a lot of surprises in store. We planning to do something big, everything happens for a reason,” he said.
Other than citing that everything happens for a reason, Da L.E.S chose not to into detail on why the party was shut down.
According to the metro police, cars were parked on the street without prior permission. The community was also not notified about the noise levels that would occur as a result.
Reportedly, the Da L.E.S exclusive all white party guest list includes names like AKA, Bonang, and Joelle Kayembe. Although those special celebrity faces were nowhere visible on the Slikour On Life interview with the organiser, as the camera spanned the party area.
Plebs get in too though if they win a contest. However, it would appear that they make up the stock of the event complete with the mandatory “hot girls” quota.
Here is a list of what went into the Da L.E.S exclusive all white party that cost an estimated R500 000 to arrange:
