Listen to the sweet sounds of an Oreo cookie vinyl
I keep reading it over and over: Oreo cookie vinyl.
I know that vinyl’s are comprised of a series of grooves correlating with the needle and speaker box (in a very compact nut shell), but this Oreo vinyl takes things to the next level.
You guessed it- Oreos Hong Kong got in touch with the Dimensions Plus agency to pitch the idea of the Oreo Vinyl- a mini turntable that can play vinyl record versions of specially crafted cookies.
It would appear that they were all tripping on sugar, but as I would like to remind you all- if you can think it you can achieve it. And so, Dimensions Plus started their production of the Oreo Vinyl.
Sweet dreams are made of these
The process was the same as any vinyl production, except for on the surface of an Oreo. They etched grooves onto the surface and packaged it with an accompanying mini record player.
With the Oreo Vinyl Pack you can play four restructured versions of the Oreo anthem in the four distinct styles of jazz, classical, electronic and Chinese. The process sounds so plausible from the mouth of Dimensions: “We wrote a program to transform the music into a pattern. After that, we make it into a laser-engraving friendly format and produce the mod for the Oreo Vinyl production”

Well there you have it- With the Oreo cookie vinyl you can have your track and eat it too.
