Listen to this David Bowie 1979 BBC Radio 1 DJ set
The passing of David Bowie has nearly any and everyone talking, reminiscing and romanticising about the man behind the art and the evolution of his seemingly infinite creativity.

We came across this special mix that David Bowie did for the famous BBC Radio 1 back in 1979. The mix is fun, experimental, and features artists like Bruce Springteen, Iggy Pop, Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones, Blondie and more.
It’s a precious two hour journey into the music and artists that he enjoyed. He of course felt free to mix it up just as much as he pleased. Few things could be sweeter for all of his fans than to take a mental trip through the tracks that got David Bowie’s approval all the way back in the seventies. In different parts throughout the mix David Bowie chimes in between the tracks while making transitions. So the mix definitely helps bring to life his memory.
