LANDR provides creative tools for musicians including online audio and music mastering using AI, digital music distribution to streaming services and collaboration and promotion tools.
It’s a one-stop-shop for producers wanting to get their music out, frills free.
Now they have added another feature to their repertoire: Samples.
Samples are nuggets of sonic gold that can help speed up production and spark creativity. Production takes hours upon hours of tinkering, and having samples as references makes the process a little bit easier.
LANDR teamed up with top talent Dirty Projectors, Blue Hawaii, Marc Houle, Pan-Pot, Mike & Keys, Jazzfeezy and more to deliver a highly curated set of sample packs exclusively for the LANDR community.
Creator community
To thank its creator community of 1.7 million artists, LANDR launches Samples to give users free and unlimited access to this library, that will ever-expand with upcoming releases.
Additionally, LANDR is set to accept sample submissions from its user community in the future, further helping emerging producers establish new channels of visibility.
“As a musician, you often find yourself stuck creatively. With Samples, you can spark new ideas for tracks by playing with sounds from outside your main genre,” said LANDR’s Creative Director and musician Rory Seydel. “We are giving back to the musicians that have helped make LANDR a success, and providing new possibilities for them to create great music in the future.”
Besides simply providing samples, LANDR also plans to provide support services for musicians creating samples, including educational resources on be best practices for creating sample packs, selling loops, one-shots and other sample-based content; catching your own fish.
