Kid Fonque announces National Event Series; coming to a city near you
Kid Fonque presents…
Not playing around, Kid has announced an extensive tour, bringing South Africa’s legends and up and comers to cities around the country for the next 12 months.
The series kicks off this Saturday, and will commence monthly with Fonque bringing meticulously curated line-ups to some of the country’s top music venues in Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria and Johannesburg.
The concept of the tour is centred on bringing his critically acclaimed 5FM radio show, Selective Styles to life – allowing the audience to experience the music in person.
With over 20 years of experience, Fonque has cemented his position as an important proponent of South African electronic music and club culture.
Unbound by the constraints of genre or mainstream trends, he is well-respected in the music industry and revered by his fans for his uncompromising attitude to playing and making music.

His steady rise in the music industry got a major catapult when he landed a slot on 5FM, where he has complete control of the music on the show and is able to reach more people than ever.
