Junior Taurus takes us Back To Love
Monate Mpolaye producer, two-time SAMA Nominee Junior Taurus, real name Tshepo Mosidi has produced music for so many South African artists, taking house music and most recently Amapiano to unimaginable heights.
After years of fans across the country pleading with Junior Taurus to drop his own music, Junior has finally answered their pleas with full body of work; “Back To Love”.
Taurus built up to the album with 2 of the hottest singles in 2019/20, which dominated the Top 100 Airplay & RAMS charts. On both singles “Settle Down” and “Happy For You”, Junior Taurus teamed up with Kaylow, whilst most recently giving us two more tracks from the album, titled “Welele” featuring Focalistic and “Sibonga Abazali” featuring Bean_SA.
“Back To Love” is a beautiful body of work which maintains the theme of love throughout, with Junior’s unmistakable keys and melodies, whilst shaking dancefloors with his thumping baselines.
Asked about the album, Junior said:
“Back To Love’ my brand-new album, purely means back to my love of music, I think I had fallen out of love with music, I had taken that relationship break so to say.
“Music has been something that I have always been drawn to from a young age, and I have always known that I would want to be in the entertainment industry, especially music, but took a step back at some point and that is what ‘Back To Love’ means.
“That is why I dug deep in putting this together, getting into studio with artists I admire, such as Kaylow, OkMalumKoolKat, Zano, Focalistic, Londie London, just to mention a few.
“The project took me more than 6 years to compete. So, this is me in my purest form.”
Back To Love doesn’t come alone, it coincides with a music video for Welele which features Pitori Maradona, Focalistic.
