Jori Hulkkonen is coming to SA for Outer Space
A banner event, Jori Hulkkonen is coming to SA.
Finnish DJ and producer of gigantic proportions, Hulkkonen is gearing to touchdown in South Africa this September where he will play not one, but two exclusive shows.
On the 15th of September Jori will be hosted at the esteemed Inner City Outer Space event at And Club in Johannesburg.
The event brand and club space is a revered platform for top genres from the electronic underground like techno, house and electronica, making it the perfect pairing for this momentous occasion.
Jori’s career is beyond impressive, with more than 25 years in the industry he has cultivated more releases, collaborations and performance pseudonyms than many of us are aware of.

He started his career in the early 90’s when he worked with Jukka Hautamäki, Tuomas Salmela and Ari Ruokamo for their own label Lumi Records.
He is responsible in partnership with Canadian producer Tiga for the internationally-acclaimed hit single Sunglasses at Night, which is a remix of Corey Hart’s 1980’s hit.
He is also the curator of the Acid Symphony Orchestra involving ten Roland TB-303 bassline synthesizers and one TR-707 drum machine.
“The outfit of the eleven piece orchestra may seem discreet and temperate, but Acid Symphony Orchestra’s performances are unique experiences that range from deep symphonic tones to full-on acid techno madness,” as is explained on their website.
