Jameson Music Video Grant by the Indie Channel
The Jameson Music Video Grant is up for grabs once again. Last year the Indie Channel launched the grant that would allow young South African creatives to come together and create works of art that closely resembles or mirrors what it’s like for creatives on the ground level.
They invited musicians, directors, stylists, videographers, directors, and dancers to submit their ideas for a Jameson Music Video Grant. The chosen artists were given a budget of R100 000 to create their masterpiece.
Last year the Indie Channel was inundated with brilliant proposals that they gave two artists R100 000 each towards two separate music videos. What they ended up with was two exceptional music videos that had a perfect combination of “indie craft, extraordinary visuals and smooth production”.
