WATCH Ja Rule perform a cringey halftime show at Milwaukee Bucks game
From Fyre festival to this cringey halftime show, Ja Rule is being burnt.
Fresh off the debacle that was Fyre Festival, 2000’s rapper Ja performed at Saturday’s Milwaukee Bucks halftime show and the video has gone viral.
Ja was invited to perform at the Bucks 90’s night, which is funny considering he’s actually a 2000’s artist, as he pointed out.
“They said this was Nineties night, so they brought out a 2000s artist,” Ja Rule said. “But my album came out in ’99 so I guess that counts.”
Ja prompted his DJ to begin the show, which was delayed due to technical issues.
“Are we ready?” Ja Rule loudly asked a few times before adding, “I guess we’re not.”
With only 3.5 minutes remaining of halftime, Ja’s show finally kicked off while Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, took warm-up shots nearby.
Ja took to Twitter to hit back at people who knocked his performance:
“Y’all really be on my dick… let’s be CLEAR my sound was fucked up at first and didn’t come on when it was supposed to but I rocked that bitch… thanks for the love Milwaukee!!! Great win my streak continues… lol.” He also said of players taking warm-ups during the halftime show, “Y’all act like this is not normal at halftime shows.”
He then set his revenge on the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Bucks’ opponent, after the team poked fun at him:
“You just jinx yourself talking to the GOD this way… your CURSED NOW!!! You won’t win a championship for the next 30 years,” Ja Rule tweeted. “AND [Karl Anthony Towns] IS LEAVING!!! Apologize and I’ll lift the CURSE!!!”
