IMS Ibiza 2019 focal point is mental health
IMS Ibiza 2019 is taking place on May 22-24 at the Hard Rock Hotel in Ibiza.
Earlier this year we announced the thrilling news that IMS Ibiza is joining forces with SHE SAID.SO for the 12th edition, where they will strive to ‘incubate inclusion.’
Now, with the leading electronic music summit fast-approaching, IMS Ibiza has announced its full schedule, featuring 118 global leaders and experts plus island-wide networking events and parties.
The summit will lead with two extended keynote debates, in the first- IMS AND ARETÉ PRESENT MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS DEBATE- where 20 leading industry voices will unite for a vital discussion of upmost relevance; mental health challenges and what can be done to safeguard everyone working in the industry.
Artists Luciano, Madame Ghandi, Pete Tong and Professor Green will join father of Avicii and founder of the Tim Bergling Foundation Klas Bergling in an open forum designed to find real, workable solutions to this growing issue.
Is club culture heading in the right direction?
The second extended keynote debate is: RESIDENT ADVISOR & IMS PRESENT… IS CLUB CULTURE HEADED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION?
This debate will see 14 of the most revered names in electronic music come together to take stock of club culture, including voices from Andy Blackett, Human Rias, Jaguar, Kae Burke, Keira Sinclair, Keith Reilly, Leticia Van Riel, Mark Newton, Nicolas Matar, Olga Heijns, Pete Tong, SOPHIE and Steffen Charles.
Newly announced artists joining the summit speakers line-up include Skunk Anansie frontwoman Skin who brings her experiences to SHESAID.SO PRESENTS…INVESTIGATING INTERSECTIONALITY.
Detroit-born and raised techno / house DJ and producer Kelli Hand, German based DJ and Producer Loco Dice, Palestinian DJ and Producers DJ Dar and DJ Darbak plus Spain’s Paco Osuna will introduce elrowART, a new concept from global party brand elrow.
