Hip-Hop 411 presents, “The Alpha Female Delight Compilation Vol 2”
What’s the Hip-Hop 411?
The Alpha Female Delight Compilation Vol 2 is the 411!
The first all women hip-hop EP in South Africa is back with a new compilation with music from fierce MC’s.
The idea takes inspiration from 20 000 women of 1956 who marched to the Union Building in Pretoria to protest against the unjust laws enforced on women in South Africa at the time- well it’s time to show the masses that female rappers are making a mark in SA that should be heard.
The compilation features lyrical stylings from the likes of Mbleedaduurt (Trap Count), Lex Lafoy (WITOTWSI), Zenny da Freek (Baphl), Venus (Dank), K-sleezy (Fact), Landr (Flick of the Wrist), Tyrant (The City), Zinnycated (Women), Nadia Rose (Skwod), Angel Haze (Werking Girls), Luaperis (Zangalewa) and more.
The compilation was aptly released on Women’s Day yesterday, though downloads were available from Wednesday the 8th via SoundCloud, Data File Host and Audiomack.
