Here’s a list of the highest paid global DJs for 2014.
If you never knew it before you certainly know it now. DJing has become BIG business and like every other part of our lives, it seems the rich get richer and the poor, poorer. The numbers quoted here are jaw-dropping and it kind of reads like a DJ Mag Top 10 poll.
Trance has always been near the top of the pile but over the past few years EDM – thanks American Billboard for creating an EDM chart – is predictably right up there as the BIGGEST earner. This list was published by Forbes.

1. Calvin Harris – $66 million
2. David Guetta – $30 million
3. Avicii – $28 million (tie)
3. Tiesto – $28 million (tie)
5. Steve Aoki – $23 million
6. Afrojack – $22 million
7. Zedd – $21 million
8. Kaskade – $17 million
9. Skrillex – $16.5 million
10. Deadmau5 – $16 million
11. Hardwell – $13 million
12. Armin van Buuren – $12 million (tie)
12. Steve Angello – $12 million (tie)
Other’s near the top of the pile include DJ Pauly (groan), Diplo, and Paul Oakenfold whilst both Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell generated around 10 million dollars each.
