Hardwell launches Gemstone, his new record label
Digging for musical treasure, Hardwell launches Gemstone, his new record label.
Where do you go after being named the best-selling big room artist in the world?
Well Hardwell already launched a record label, Revealed Records, which has done pretty well for itself, becoming the second highest-selling label on Beatport for the big room genre.
With over 8 million Facebook fans, Hardwell definitely has the recipe for success and now he has launched a new venture- his new record label, Gemstone.
Stepping out of the big room, the aim of Gemstone is to expand the variety of music released and provide fans with material ranging from electro-pop to deep, future house and future bass groove.
All’s well for Hardwell
Hardwell will continue to work on Revealed Records, which just secured its own entire stage at Mysteryland, and use his experience to guide his new label to success.
He will use the second hour of his Hardwell On Air show ‘Off The Record’ as a platform for new Gemstone releases, which will be full of new artists and rising talent.
Hardwell said this about the launch:
There is so much good music being made nowadays and the way to release music has become a lot easier. With the platform, team and structure we have built with Revealed, we want to take the next step with the label with building and branding Gemstone. We will not only be servicing the club/festival sound but also focusing on electronic music that appeals to a much bigger audience. I’m excited with this new step for my label and can’t wait to work with all the amazing new talent out there!”
