Watch this guy play Gorillaz Feel Good Inc on a 3-necked guitar
Luca Stricagnoli takes his guitar-playing to a whole new level, or 3 by playing the whole of Gorillaz Feel Good Inc.
Stricagnoli is an already-established shredder of covers.
His renditions can be found on YouTube, and they are pretty good.
But how can you stand out in a sea of cover artists? Maybe doing a rendition of one of the most iconic songs on a 3-necked guitar would suffice!
Multiple-necked guitars however are no new feat in music technology.
They have been around, helping musos shred since the Renaissance era.
Having more than one neck results in having many strings to play on, this in turn leads to greater opportunity of reaching epic tonal heights without having to switch guitars.
Through the ages, they have been used in rock n roll, acoustic and now thanks to Stricagnoli, has infiltrated pop culture.
But Gorillaz Feel Good Inc is not the kind of song one would expect covered only JUST a guitar.
Feel good
Stricagnoli crafted a 3-necked guitar complete with a “drum” protrusion.
He then goes on to play every part of Gorillaz Feel Good Inc.
From the beat, to the vocal melody as well as De La Soul’s rap solo, every aspect of that song is there.
While one hand plays the iconic bass line, the other is responsible for the melody, all the while keeping the beat of the drums going.
