GoodLuck Livestream concert this Sat raises funds during COVID-19
The GoodLuck livestream concert “Sunsets & Cocktails” is taking place this Saturday at 18:00.
GoodLuck is bringing a fully-fledged concert production to your neighbourhood.
They will use the opportunity to raise additional funds for their feeding project that has been keeping thousands of impoverished people afloat in the hardest-hit communities of Cape Town during COVID-19 pandemic.
“Live performance has always been part of our DNA and we have been itching to perform for our fans so much!”, says Jules (lead singer) of GoodLuck.
“So, we thought to celebrate the last few days of the national lockdown, we would bring you something fun to lift your spirits and keep you entertained and dancing!”
The band decided that it’s time to do something special and bring you as close to a live concert as they can, right from their front garden!
We’re talking about epic lighting and FX, and maybe even a few pyrotechnics…
For the greater good
The band is also raising funds to help feed those most affected by COVID-19 as they continue to support a variety of charities around Cape Town with food donations, which has been feeding thousands of people during this global crisis.
To date, GoodLuck has raised almost R300,000 which immediately started serving some of the most vulnerable communities in the Western Cape, using music and their fan base to raise awareness and focus on the plight of some of the poorest people most affected in this time.
Jules and Ben had a message for their fans:
“To all our fans, we are so grateful for your love and support.
“As you know it is not easy being in the music industry during these uncertain times but we want to put all of that aside and for one night share with you our songs, our stories and some insight which we have maybe never shared with you guys before… Also, (and most importantly) we can’t WAIT to dance with you!”
