GOGO Music Annual Thanksgiving Event
The annual GOGO Music thanksgiving is a music event with a difference. It is the type of party that will leave you feeling good in more ways than just musically and socially.
House 22 and GOGO Music join together to bring you a fundraiser event on the 4th of January 2015 that is aimed at helping children in their community who are less privileged. Orphans and abandoned children are at the top of my own personal causes therefore this speaks to my sense of goodwill, and I can’t help but feel joy over it.
All of the profit made from the bar on the night will be donated to the Sunnyside Orphanage. The donation will be made on behalf of GOGO Music, House 22, Ralf GUM, Sir LSG, Themba and Bongani the Sessionist as it will be the efforts of this group that brings the night of decadent music together.
Giving back, especially when you do well is the responsibility of each of us. GOGO Music and House 22 sees this as an opportunity to give thanks for the great year they’ve had in 2014 while looking forward to the upcoming challenges and rewards in 2015.
I’d say it’s a smashing way to kick off the new year, maintaining that music and parties need not only be about empty hedonism.
Free entry all throughout the night, if you’d like to donate you can do so at the door. And of course all of the profit made at the bar will be donated to the Sunnyside Orphanage. This is an honest and wonderful kind of event that reflects the big hearts of the people in the house music scene.
