ForTunes app gives music creators access to their online data
The ForTunes app helps music creators keep track of the growth of their online presence.
There is a flurry of online platforms showcasing your music; it’s difficult to keep up, and with online engagement playing a pivotal role in your growth as an artist, having access to your online data can help you maximise your musical reach.
And while there are many apps that help the Instagram-star on the rise keep track of followers and such, there has yet to be an app that focuses solely on musicians; which is where ForTunes comes in.
Having launched for iOS in February, the app gathers valuable information like plays, playlist placements, blog postings and user-generated content, and presents it in real time through nifty charts and such, allowing users to keep an eye on their interactions and developments.
By musicians, for musicians
Hundreds of people are already using the iOS version, with a desktop version due in July. ForTunes has also partnered up with the likes of Hype Machine, Europavox Festival and the Association of Independent Music to give users the best-rounded experience.
Founder of ForTunes said:
“ForTunes was created by and for musicians. We know the hustle of doing blog outreaches, tracking the performances of songs and trying to push music productions out there, DIY style. Data doesn’t have to be for large agencies and corporate think-tanks. Data should flow freely, and be used by creative minds to do meaningful things.”
There’s an introduction video which shows a user go through his stats, and can be viewed bellow.
