A female urinal has been invented- FINALLY
Introducing Lapee, the female urinal for festivals.
The day has finally arrived! It only took a millennium, but gosh darn it, it’s here. I’m talking about a urinal for the ladies.
Say goodbye to long bathroom queues and overflowing loos- we can now tinkle in a Lapee, a new urinal designed for females.
Seeing as 90% of festival toilet queues are for women needing to pee, the Lapee immediately offers a solution to this age-old problem while simultaneously providing a 600% increase in efficiency.
Besides it’s practical use, the Lapee also supports gender equality, giving women the opportunity to pee in the similar hassle-free way that men do and have for an eternity.
It’s also made from recyclable polyethylene (environmentally friendly), is easy to transport and clean, has a 1100 litre tank and can be fitted to an existing sewerage system.
How it works
Lapee is designed to provide cover for women peeing whereas standing men would be exposed. The height of the urinal brings privacy but also empowers the women peeing. While peeing, her eyesight is at the same level as a standing man.
The openness of the shape keeps it efficient and functional, while the privacy can be adjusted by arranging the units together.
From a very early design stage, the product was developed in constant dialogue with end-users and some of the biggest festivals in Northern Europe.
The product has been validated by festivals and optimized for handling, maintaining, transport and storage.
Hopefully this product can become a fixture or EVERY festival in the world- seriously, we also deserve to pee hassle-free.
Head on over to Lapee’s website and check out the video of the female urinal in action.
