South African Psytrance producers Priest CT & Brontide have banded together to bring us Evolution Of Sound Vol.2.
Evolution Of Sound Vol.2 is the second instalment of their Evolution Of Sound series. The V/A is a six-track compilation featuring tracks ranging from progressive trance to fullon psychedelic trance!
With artists not making any money through gigs, events and festivals, Priest CT & Brontide will waive all revenue from this V/A and all profits will go straight to the artists.

What is the idea behind ‘Evolution Of Sound’?
Priest CT & Brontide: The main focus is to promote new and old Psytrance Producers from all sub genres of psytrance and provide a platform for them to showcase their work and receive all the profits.
How did you guys go about choosing which producers to include for ‘Evolution Of Sound Vol.2’?
Priest CT & Brontide: It’s done once a year and we normally choose the guys/girls who are most active on their socials in that year and who are really pushing their music and we would just like to give it an extra push for them, as long as the music is good. 🙂
We also try to choose new acts who we think deserve some needed promotion.
How has the overall sound of the ‘Evolution Of Sound Vol.2’ changed since the first instalment?
Priest CT & Brontide: We don’t think it has changed at all. The music is still consistent and good, showing a variety of psytrance genres from full-on, forest, twilight and Progressive. Every year the artists amaze us and we have 3 new acts on the VA that we think should be heard.
