EDM responds to Calvin Harris “Nazi headbanger music” tweet
Calvin Harris has been horsing around.
Twitter has exploded since Harris sent a tweet (now-deleted) to TenGraphs, describing his music as “Nazi headbanger music.”
It all started when Apache called out Harris for apparently copying the music video for “Majesty” because his video for “Giant” with Rag’n’Bone Man also features horse riding and cinematic nature shots.

Harris denied Apache’s allegations, citing a Vice article about horse-riding kids from Dublin.
Things heated up when Canadian producer TenGraphs backed up Apache, leading Harris to drop the “Away back to your Nazi headbanger music you wee pleb” comment that’s since been deleted.
When one tweet asked whether his comment was aimed at dubstep originators Skream and Benga, Harris cleared the air, saying: “Hi I didn’t say dubstep was shit I was addressing one abusive guy NOT an entire genre thanks 👍”
Here are some responses from the ED community:
Dear dubstep kids – please keep getting mad at @CalvinHarris …. I’m hoping if you guys keep talking enough shit he’ll end up making a dubstep record in spite of all of you and completely change bass music forever for the better 😇 🤞
