DJ Tira keeps his price for a hook to R100k due to SA’s struggling economy
There will be no price hike for a DJ Tira verse or hook.
Despite nationwide price hikes of everything from nappies to petrol and food, up-and-coming musicians need not worry about the price hikes of collaborations with Tira.
Having an established artist feature on your track can catapult your career, but at what cost?
In 2018 Tira announced a price hike for his contribution to a track: R70 000 for a verse and R100 000 for any work done on the hook.
Now, the muso tweeted that he will not be hiking up his prices at this time due to the “economy of the country not doing well.”
It’s going to cost you!
While no one doubt’s Tira’s magnificent skill; he is one of the best in the bizz, some people do feel it’s an excessive price, especially for Chicki Chiki Chiki Chaaaaaa.
Lol aibo for one verse 70k 😂😂🤣 #never

You better start saving now if you want a DJ Tira verse or hook, before a price hike.
