DJ Shimza helps out in Tembisa after tornado damage
DJ Shimza is known for his generosity and giving back to his community.
Every year he does the DJ Shimza One Man Show on Christmas day and raises funds to provide children with school clothes and stationery for the coming year.
So it’s no surprise this open hearted star has pitched in to help the tornado ravaged community of Tembisa. The tornado has left dozens of people injured, hundreds of homes destroyed and a devastating trail of destruction.
Aside from physically being there to help, DJ Shimza also took to social media to urge his fans to come and help him rebuild some of the shacks that were destroyed.
“Those of you who are available tomorrow, please can we meet at Boisantha in Tembisa tomorrow at 9am to go and help those who were affected yesterday, just helping them rebuild the shacks,” was his message. He also urged those who could not be there to spread the message.
