DJ class broken up by police as it turns into fullon rave
A beginners DJ class in Nottingham, UK was broken up by local police after it turned into a huge 3 AM rave.
That must have been one exciting DJ class with eager participants. The students turned partygoers even brought along beer and glow sticks.
The DJ class was set to take place in the evening but ran all the way into the early hours of Sunday morning with around two hundred and fifty people in attendance. The so called DJ class was meant to take place on Saturday, 11th March from 7 PM to 10 PM. However, things grew from a mere work session into a full on party that the police had to break up.
Beer and glowsticks
Reportedly, footage and images of the DJ class surfaced where “students” were holding cans of Red Stripe lager and glow sticks.
“Sadly staff were not on site, the person was known to them. They were given the responsibility and that responsibility was placed in the wrong hands. There was [sic] 250 people and it lasted until 3.30am, and at one point the fire brigade got called out because the smoke alarm went off. We are absolutely mortified by it. It is nothing that the school would ever want to be connected with, or Field Sports Management. We are part of the community and want to support it and be good residents,” said Rushcliffe School head teacher Steve Lewis.
It seemed that somebody lied to somebody, because this DJ class turned rave doesn’t appear to be an entirely spontaneous event. If anything, it seems like a sincere attempt by a group of young people to have a good time despite restrictions.
The building was also damaged in minor ways but luckily no serious offenses were committed at the DJ class turned rave party. The police were reportedly relieved about that.
