Die Antwoord Eminem response is pretty funny (and explicit) (VIDEO)
The Die Antwoord Eminem response to the latter’s diss on his new album is priceless and oh so typical.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock i.e. are not present on social media, you know about the current ‘diss war’ between Eminem and various other rappers, including SA’s own diabolical duo, Ninja and Yolandi Visser.
It all started when Eminem released his new album, titled Kamikaze, which sees Slim Shady bring back rap diss in a big way, including firing lyrical shoots at Machine Gun Kelly- who also responded to the rapper through the now number 1 track ‘Rap Devil.’
On his track, “Greatest,” Eminem raps: “I know there’s people that are pissed about the way I mispronounced a name‚ DIE ANTWOORD! F**k‚ I still can’t say this s**t‚ but how quickly they forget / Who the f**k I was now Ninja try to duck my slugs / To let ya girl get f***ed by Muggs.”
Rap attack
In Die Antwoord’s response, Ninja greets Em with: “Yo Em, how you doing brah? Sorry we haven’t hit you back in a second but we just heard your new shit. You’re so funny.”
He then takes a stab at Eminem’s sobriety, talking about how he’s “slipping” and “used to rap better on drugs,” adding “the kids” aren’t “feeling your rhymes or your botox.”
Towards the end of the video, Ninja tells Em to “put that cool shit from Detroit back on the map again,” before both members spelt out “E-M-I-N-E-M R-I-P” repeatedly.
Last but certainly not least, they end off the video with a “jou ma se…” and a flick of the middle finger that is so classically them.
