Daft Punk Coldplay collaboration rumoured
Is this Daft Punk Coldplay collab real or fantasy; time will tell.
Daft Punk, the undisputed unicorns of EDM, take keeping it low-key to the next level.
Never mind their elusive masks, the French duo’s style of releasing music is also mysterious and sporadic, keeping fans guessing.
In fact, their last published piece of work was back in 2016 when they collaborated with The Weekend on two tracks for his album Starboy.
Needless to say, gaining access to their musical genius is no easy feat, but rumour has it there’s a collaboration brewing between the Daftest of Punks and the Coldest of Plays.
According to an Italian Coldplay fan page on Facebook, it looks like Daft Punk might make an appearance on the band’s forthcoming album rumoured to be called Fool’s Gold.
Cold not-so-hard facts
According to NME, Coldplay recently announced plans to release a new album in the next month or so that will feature more “experimental” material, with a more mainstream album slated for release in 2020.
