CTEMF Open End 2019 announced for Feb
CTEMF Open End 2019 is taking place on 6 & 7 Feb.
CTEMF Open End is a series of workshops and info-sessions curated by the Red Bull Music Studio Cape Town in the lead up to CTEMF 2019.
The sessions will be taking place at the Studio on Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 of February 2019. Aside from the Starter Pack Workshop, all the sessions are free for the public to attend. Space is limited so make sure you get to the venues early to ensure a seat.
The schedule is as follows:
Wed 06 February
Starter Pack 12PM to 4PM
-Up-and-coming artists can get a professional headshot taken of themselves by the Red Bull Music Studio CT Photographer
– Receive documents and information from the Studio team
– Legalese to help with the basics regarding your artist career: invoices, contracts, publishing, bios, press-release etc.

- Artist / band name and kind of music are you making?
- Why are you interested in attending the sessions?
Acceptance will be revealed by Monday 4 Feb latest.

The rest of the itinerary goes as follows:
– A Introduction to CTEMF Connect and JOOX 4PM to 5PM
An introduction to the CTEMF Connect program and how up and coming artists can potentially be involved and use it as a platform for their burgeoning careers.
– Catching A Break 5PM to 6:30PM
Young artists can feel overwhelmed by what success can look like in the current music landscape.
-A Discussion with Colin Gayle 6:30PM to 8PM
Thurs 07 February
-Not Sorry Club and Lilies present: On the couch with Mina – Getting our music heard 12PM to 1:30PM
-Through The Lens 1:30PM to 3PM
A look at event photography
-Track Search 3PM to 6PM
A simple demo listening showcase introduced at last year’s CTEMF Open End. Open to any music makers and artists, everyone is invited to bring one or two songs on a memory stick or CD.
