CTEMF 2019 lineup includes Faka, Doowap, Shane Eagle & more
CTEMF 2019 is taking place on 9 Feb at the Castle of Good Hope in Cape Town CBD.
Cape Town Electronic Music Festival returns to the Mother City for its 7th year running, with an all-star-all-local line-up.
Known to be one of the most relevant, forward-thinking and inclusive events on Africa’s festival calendar, the 2019 line-up will exhibit some of the best performance art, techno and hip-hop artists in South Africa.
The festival was forged with the aim to create an experience that reflects South African electronic music and the all-local line-up this year does just that.
FAKA, DOOWAP, SHANE EAGLE and more
Cultural movement, FAKA will perform at CTEMF this year at the Red Bull Music Stage. Founded by Fela Gucci and Desire Marea the duo are well known for their live performances and unapologetic representation of Black Queer Culture in South Africa.

Following his successful Yellow Tour, Shane Eagle will join experimental electronic duo Three Witches, rapper Patty Monroe, Tzara, Broken Transient, Uncool Luke, Muzi, DJ Doowap and Morena Leraba on the Red Bull Music Stage. (There will be 3 stages)
Prior to the 9th of February, a two day workshop will take place at the Red Bull Music Studios in Cape Town focused on giving up and coming artists some basic tools to help with their burgeoning career and an open demo listening session giving up coming artists a chance to be heard.
