Cassper Nyovest takes on Namibian Kuisebmund stadium
Local rapper Cassper Nyovest will be taking on the Namibian Kuisebmund stadium in Walvis Bay on the 26th of March 2016.
This comes after his successful ‘Fill Up The Dome’ event at the Ticketpro Dome which featured Black Coffee on the line-up last year. He sold out the venue at twenty thousand tickets and featured a great line up of surprise local South African artists.
Now Cassper Nyovest wants to throw a big event in Namibia to appease his fans in the country. He also promises that he will be performing some of the music off of his latest album.
“Fans can expect an amazing performance, great night and me performing back to back hits from their favourite albums. Whether it is ‘Doc Shebeleza’ or any song from the new album.” said Cassper Nyovest
On the line up for this show he will be sharing the stage with Namibian local artists including a surprise act who will be revealed closer to the event. They have confirmed for the show, Paul The Prince who is an R&B artist. He won an online contest and will be opening for Nyovest.
The way the contest ran was that each musician interested in winning had to post a poster of the show on their social media. The poster with the most likes won and the artist would get to perform at the show.
It’s an unusual way to select artists to perform at an event but this was their way of responding to the request list for Namibian artists to perform. They promise that only this one performer was chosen this way.
According to the organizers…
“Some of the musicians even wanted to perform for free, they just wanted the opportunity to open for Cassper.”
Tickets are for sale at all Computicket outlets at N$100 early bird special for general access, N$300 golden circle and N$1500 for VIP. The tickets will also double in price after the 24th of March.
