Buy Facebook Tickets for events directly
You will soon be able to buy Facebook Tickets for upcoming events thanks to the new feature that they will be adding to their site.
In the next few weeks Facebook Tickets will be added as an option for selected American events through leading ticket sales companies, Ticketmaster and Eventbrite.
Eventbrite said that they would provide a QR code which is a two dimensional barcode. It would be integrated within the Facebook smartphone app.
It will allow you to buy tickets for events without having to leave the ever popular social networking site.

Enabling a seamless purchase experience for consumers in places like Facebook where they are spending significant time is an important step in this mission.” said Laurent Sellier in a statement, the Eventbrite vice president of product
Further information and updates were expected to be revealed at the Facebook annual global developer conference which was held at Fort Mason in San Francisco and took place over the last two days.
Facebook has an impressive more than one billion users each day, and last year saw them reach record profits. Previously they were cautious about getting involved with e-commerce on their site but the risk has paid off.
Recently, Facebook has announced that they are building artificial-intelligence powered ‘bots’. With these bots businesses will be able to have life like exchanges with their customers through the use of their Messenger service.
They have also managed to become a major platform for musicians, actors, photographers, and other artists to promote their work.
For the musicians and other performance artists, their fans were forced to go to other sites if they were interested in buying tickets for any of their events.
