Bridges for Music launch first full-time course
Bridges for Music Music & Entrepreneurship Program starts on 1 August 2019.
Bridges has launched its five months program on music & entrepreneurship at the newly built Bridges Academy in Langa.
The world-class program was designed by top industry leaders, mindfulness specialists, and successful entrepreneurs to allow you to learn the necessary skills to excel personally and professionally.
While Music / Sound is a strong part of the curriculum you will also learn transferable entrepreneurial and life skills to help you navigate the fast-paced and constantly evolving world that we live in.
This is a holistic program that will help you to tap into your true dynamic potential and become the best version of yourself whilst pursuing your passions and developing a community with your fellow students and facilitators.
You will learn from the best, to help you be your best and to be inspired that anything is possible.
The curriculum is as follows:
Over the first month there is considerable focus on “understanding of self” and the story of other members of the class. Efforts are made to create a safe space to encourage openness and a collaborative spirit while fostering a dynamic and fun environment where students are able to feel at home.
The second month is dedicated to understanding the world around us and the tools available to help us discover solutions to our challenges.
In the third month students focus on the question: “What do I want to create (alone or as a team) for society / our planet that contributes to a better world, that is meaningful, interesting to me and that is a reflection of my abilities.”
The fourth month starts to focus on more practical subjects and how to implement them in the “real world”.
The final month is about building sustainable relationships with users by marketing meaningfully, using 21st century skills and knowledge.
The first full-time course from Bridges for Music continues to bridge the gap between the underprivileged and knowledge, and is hopefully the first of many such courses.
