Sorry folks- for those who thought they could still get tickets to Boom Festival 2020 are out of luck.

Tickets to next year’s installment of the psytrance wonderland at Idanha-a-Nova in Portugal sold out in a speedy 90 minutes.

In a Facebook post, Boom Festival Official said:

“We feel the frustration of Boomers who did not manage to get their ticket, however, limited capacity is a necessity to preserve the intimacy of the festival, the comfort of those attending and the wellbeing of nature at Boomland.”

“What is more, this edition there is the possibility for Boomers to resell their tickets on a third-party platform – meaning there is another window of opportunity in sight,” they added.

Watch out for scammers

For those who failed to get their hands on a ticket, take note that scammers thrive in such situations where they can prey on the desperate and naïve.

In another post, Boom Festival Official warns revellers about a fake site, saying:

“Human greed is an unfortunate reality. Please beware: a copycat website has been put together to scam Boomers. Tickets to Boom Festival 2020 are sold out.

❗️DO NOT purchase tickets on -boom-festival.org-

Thank you for your attention and support.”

Creating a fake website mirroring an organization is next level scamming- be very vigilant- but most importantly note that tickets are sold out so any website saying otherwise is definitely a scam.

They seem to have managed to get the errant URL redirected to the official site but if any site is offering tickets it has to be fake as there are none left for sale.
