Black Coffee gets his own radio show on Apple’s Beats 1
South African beats ambassador Black Coffee will have his own radio show on Apple Music’s Beats 1.
2017 keeps getting better for Black Coffee as he joins the likes of Drake, Dr Dre and Pharrell Williams by notching his own radio show on his belt of success.
In true Black Coffee fashion he revealed that his radio station will be proudly South African, saying:
“The first thing you think is that you’re going to only hear house music or South African music on my show, but what we’re trying to do is to really expose people to me. As in, what do I love as this is my show? What inspires me musically? So it’s different sides and genres.”
The show will take a candid look at his relationships with US stars and will also feature never before heard collaborations.
Solid Saffas
Another Saffa duo taking the world by storm is Black Motion, who recently performed at Hi Ibiza where Black Coffee has been performing as a resident over the summer season.
They had an incredible time performing there and were ecstatically received by a crowd mesmerized by the unique flare of their dance moves and drumming.
Another highlight for the duo was Black Coffee whispering how proud he is of them.
They then played gigs in Paris, Greece and Croatia and will soon be heading to New York and Canada to spread the African groove so beloved by the world’s ears at the moment and rightfully so.
South Africans are taking the world by storm with regards to electronic music.
Black Coffee acquires his own radio show on Apple’s Beats 1 and you can catch the debut on the 28th of July at 8pm SA time.
