Black Coffee Block Party #BreakTheBlock Top 10
The winner of the Black Coffee Block Party #BreakTheBlock Top 10 will get the opportunity to share a stage with Black Coffee at an event this December.
DJ Luyolo is aiming his continued success at getting out of the scene in East London and into the minds and hearts of the rest of South Africa.
He is an on the rise East London hip hop DJ with some big dreams. Last night he was in the lead to win. He has shared an earnest campaign on Facebook to get people to vote for him on the competition’s Facebook page.
He is also pretty confident in his abilities… “My mixing skills are outstanding,” he told local East London news site, Dispatch Live.
DJ Luyolo shared that his selected entry was one of his monthly mixes, specifically the one he did for October. All entrants had sent their mixes to Black Coffee and he chose the final ten.
Once the top ten were announced it was up to everyone on social media to get voting.
The winner of the contest will get to play at the Metro FM presents The Black Coffee Block Party on the 3rd of December at the FNB Stadium. This event features the best in urban and hip-hop artists in the country. They are expecting a crowd of twenty thousand people so it’s going to be a fat party.
