Zex’s Lemonade stand
Lush was keen to get his vinyl collector hands on a successful album like Beyonce’s Lemonade, little did he know how successful his copy would be!
“Beyonce’s album was massive last year so all vinyl collectors were keen to get their hands on the official limited vinyl package,” he said.
When it arrived, he marveled at it, but didn’t get to take it for a spin until the Saturday when the truth came blasting out.
“I went to play it and instead of Queen Bey hits such as Pray You Catch Me, Hold Up and Don’t Hurt Yourself – I heard this punk band come bouncing out the speakers.”
Caught in a ‘topsy-turvy’ world, he Shazam’d it and it turned out to be the musical styling’s of Zex, a punk band in Canada.
It is reported that a mere 27 copies of this mispress exist, and it is sought after by Beyonce fans, Zex fans, as well as vinyl collectors.
