beatsbyhand Mana EP gets a rework on Ambious Records
Ambious Records released the beatsbyhand Mana EP back in Sept/Oct 2019 and two of the tracks have now been remixed with fantastic results.
Ambious Records artist Avi Subban, who has recently celebrated releases on Chutney Records and Swoon Recordings with his mesmerizing sonic capabilities, reworks ‘The Courage’ to great aplomb.
David April who delivered a timeless remix of Cadenza’s ‘Fire’ gets stuck into ‘Bliss’ with equally good results.
This remix package featuring two reworks from beatsbyhand’s, Mana EP, showcases a unique body of work with old-school South African deep house flavours.
Avi Subban flips ‘The Courage’ into a groovy house track by complimenting the deep hypnotic bassline with the soulful vocal chops throughout. The remix is layered with playful synths and lively percussion that will get any dance floor grooving.
David April takes on the remix duties for ‘Bliss’ serving up organic percussion, mixed with moments of soft keys and a deep brooding bassline that resonates throughout the track. This one is for those long sunset drives.
