BeatMoovz will turn your dance moves into music
BeatMoovz turns your dance moves into music.
The world of making music on the go is fast developing with a variety of apps that you can download on your Smartphone. Now BeatMoovz will allow you to make tunes with something you can wear on your wrists.
BeatMoovz was developed by a competitive dancer and background engineer, Daigo Kusunoki. The device is made up of Bluetooth bands that you can wear on either your ankles or your wrists. It’s all about how slowly or quickly you move. If you are moving steadily with a gentle rocking motion you could produce a sound that has a slow groove. If you are moving fast you could get the kind of beat that you would get from break dancing.
How BeatMoovz works
All you have to do is pair the bands up with an app on either your android or iOS phone, and you are good to go. You can even hook up multiple sets of bands to one app. During the demo for BeatMoovz, Kusunoki and another dancer wore two sets of bands each. They produced varying sounds such as those found in techno and hip hop.
With this creation, the dancer not only obeys the music while moving to the sound of the beat; but the dancer now creates the music too. The idea is ingenious. You can also apply different sounds to each bracelet so that you can create a richer production.
There are four hundred options when choosing genres, so you aren’t limited to style or sound. You could even opt for sounds that were inspired by action films, sci-fi, and video games.
BeatMoovz will recognize your movements and apply the appropriate audio effects. It could be a great ice breaker at parties or something fun to do when everyone is already drunk.
BeatMoovz will be released in August this year and will cost $70 each.
