Babes Wodumo loses USB, unreleased ‘Gandaganda’ pirated
Babes Wodumo loses USB containing her unreleased and unmastered new single, ‘Gandaganda.’
It’s not clear where she had it last or how this happened but somehow this ultra-important USB got into the hands of the Durban public domain and made its rounds on the local club circuit- unmastered.
Naturally she was angry, taking to her Instagram account to plead with her fans to help her get her USB back, or at least send her links to the track so she may delete it.
In a Twitter video recording, she said: “We have a problem. Please help. We have lost a USB with a song called Gandaganda. It is rumoured that the song is being played somewhere at South Beach and many other places. So guys if you have the link, please send it to me, send it via Facebook, so I can delete it. I am very sad because the song has not been mastered yet.”
Lost and found
We all know that deleting the song via a link will not delete it everywhere, and naturally the star found herself at the centre of Twitter jokes.

She has since found her USB and announced the release of the mastered version of “Gandaganda.”
Some think it a publicity stunt, either way the song has received over 50 000 views on YouTube since its release on Wednesday.
It has certainly generated a buzz despite even the Twitter jokes, as we all know that any publicity is good publicity.
