Artist does graphic illustrations of twenty drugs over twenty days
Brian “Pixel-Pusha” Pollett, a graphic designer based in San Francisco, decided to embark on a project that saw him take twenty drugs over twenty days. On each day he would consume a new drug and then proceed to illustrate his experience.
It’s a fascinating experiment that more than likely was very tough on his body. The artist also carried out the experiment while listening to his favourite music. Reportedly, all of the drugs he used were totally legitimate through testing kits. Twenty drugs over twenty days sounds like a thing an experienced drug taker would do. So we don’t recommend that you give this a go at home.
The illustrations that Pixel Pusha came up with offers a visual of what each psycho active drug may feel like when you take it. Of course, individual experience may vary but there is room for a generalization of what each drug may do to your psyche.
The twenty drugs over twenty days illustrations are intriguing while at the same time are visually appealing. It’s interesting to note that the very last drug on his list was love, that’s kind of sweet.
“Imagine the past, future, and linear time are gone. You can just focus on your existence in the present. The idea of tomorrow is laughable. I can create art without concern of outsider judgment, without over analyzing my process, and intuitively enjoy creating the most honest work.” Said Brian Pollett aka Pixel-Pusha
