Master KG & Ndlovu Youth Choir to perform at Africa Rising – streamed from iconic Robben Island.
The live stream concert, hosted by Africa Rising in partnership with Live Love, is a charity event aimed at raising funds for the hard-hit live events and entertainment industry with funds raised going towards Feed Our Crew – an initiative set to assist struggling freelance professionals – and community initiatives by Live Love.
Set to take place on Sunday, 25 April 2021 from 4PM – 6PM on Robben Island, the live event will be streamed to the world for free and will feature Maps Maponyane, as Master of Ceremonies, and headline acts, ‘Jerusalema’ hitmaker Master KG, and the now globally renowned Ndlovu Youth Choir.

Whilst the event is free, guests are encouraged to donate online from as little as R30.
Each person donating will go into a draw to win an exclusive VIP experience at the event on Robben Island with each donation counting as one entry into the draw.
Donations will go far in assisting communities in crisis.
