Africa Gets Physical mixed by Ryan Murgatroyd showcases SA producers

Africa Gets Physical is a Get Physical SA only compilation that celebrates a slice of South African dance music. The record label has proven over the course of its history that it is a notable force within the global dance music world.

Proving just how tuned into fresh and upcoming sounds they are; they made a concerted effort to pluck up some local fruits of the house music scene.

Signing and nurturing artists such as Jazzuelle, Lazarusman, Kostakis, and Ryan Murgatroyd, the label makes a serious nod to South African dance music the with the Africa Gets Physical Vol.1

The title of the release says it all. On the album you will find works by Jazzuelle, Lazarusman, Black Coffee, Crazy White Boy, Blanka Mazimela, Aero Manyelo, Vox Portent, and Thor Rixon.

Africa Gets Physical Vol.1 has been mixed by Ryan Murgatroyd. A compilation such as this, paying respect to dance music production in this country, is simply exciting.

The Get Physical SA compilation is scheduled for release on the 3rd of March 2017.
