Celebrate 17 years of Truth Night Club

One of Joburg’s trademark night clubs will be celebrating 17 years of Truth. This weekend on Saturday the 26th of November you can look forward to an extensive line-up of electronic music acts from South Africa and all over the world.

Headlining 17 years of Truth are artists such as Alok, Bhaskar, Blastoyz, Sons Of Maria & Agents Of Time and more.

All four dance floors will be open and the line-up will include local performers such as Vimo, Metro Ticket, Chunda Munki, Lady Lea, JustSmart, Kinetik, Bionic Douglas Olsson & Miss CJ and Rising.

The Truth location was originally a snake park and first became a night club venue in 1999. In that time it has become an iconic club in the city’s night life setting.

The venue’s outside terraces, lush greenery, and intimate cavernous indoor spaces created the ideal space for a multi-floor night club. The formula has worked for long enough, and now 17 years of Truth has passed and it’s time to celebrate.

The electronic dance music institution has and will continue to be a platform for dance music for both the international and local scenes.

South African dance music is growing in popularity worldwide and Truth serves as a landing space for internationals coming to check out what’s good; and where local DJs get the opportunity to showcase their skills and talents.
