Does alcohol affect your spirituality negatively?
I read a fascinating article from thecostaricanews.com by holistic healer Zahrah Sita. It explores the notion that consuming alcohol extracts your good spirit, leaving you vulnerable to be taken for a joy ride by undesirable spirits.
The nature of alcohol is to extract, be it to sterilise medical equipment, extract essences for essential oils or even in chemistry to extract materials.
So, what does alcohol extract from our bodies when we consume it?
The idea is that because of the undesirable state of your body during intoxication, your ‘pure soul’ schemes to cruise to greener pastures, whilst remaining attached by a tether, leaving your body open to be bombarded by a ghoul looking to cause havoc.
Think about what happens to people who drink too much. They black out, become aggressive or literally can become monsters.
Even the etymology (root of the word) is evil. The Arabic word for alcohol, “Al-kuhl” literally means “Body eating spirit.” There are many other examples but this expresses the consensus.
Why is alc-evil still legal?
We all know the negative attributes associated with alcohol…. Annihilation of brain cells and strain on the liver. Then there are the headaches and nausea, trying to remember what all happened the previous evening.
So why is it still legal despite all the drunk driving accidents and the lives destroyed? The article argues that the global elite are trying to keep us locked in a state of apathy and blind to our full potential.
Why aren’t mind expanding, soul recognising psychedelics not only legal, but celebrated?
I find this all to be a very interesting take on the whole subject.
I’ve never looked at it in this way. Albeit an extremely hard core perception, if you look at being drunk at face value it makes sense that one could see the ‘correlation’.
I’m not saying that I fully agree with the extent of it-I see it more in a metaphorical sense. Drinking alcohol doesn’t necessarily lead to death and destruction. It is possible to enjoy a few ‘cold ones’ with friends and loved ones, dance a bit, laugh a lot and really sink into the free-spirited vibe without being possessed by ghouls.
All in all though, a very interesting take on things; go read it for yourselves to make up your own mind!
Maybe the key is to make sure you’re too drunk and clumsy for an entity to even enter. A pinch of salt is also essential when dealing with any of these matters!
