Stab Virus are one the busiest techno acts on the South African electronic music landscape right now and their latest offering, Live Better, will no doubt push the enigmatic duo even further.
What started as the search for a soundtrack to a Capitec advertising campaign has since morphed into a moment of inspiration for everybody involved.
The brief, it seems, was to find suitable music that would resonate with the Capitec ethos; music that spoke to today’s 20-somethings; a soundtrack that was relevant.
Enter Red Bull Studios Cape Town, Cape Town Electronic Music Festival (CTEMF), Capitec bank and four very talented music artists; Zaki Ibrahim, Mike Kelly, Stab Virus and Bruce Loko.
The result is Live Better; a song produced by Mike Kelly and featuring the uplifting vocals and snappy lyrics of Zaki Ibrahim.
This heady mix of soul, jazz and funk also gets the remix treatment in the form a deep house groover and techno stomper!

In today’s world of choices why stop with just one catchy tune when new interpretations can be made; Live Better gets a production makeover by not just one, but two of the most promising and relevant underground talents on the South African musical landscape at the minute; Bruce Loko and Stab Virus.
