Complete Origin Fest 2018 lineup announced
The complete Origin Fest 2018 lineup has been announced and as expected it is a massive list of artists spanning across two stages.
The psy floor welcomes back Avalon, one of SA and indeed the globes favourite psytrance acts who will also perform a Future Frequency set, the progressive project he does with Sonic Species.
Earthspace released his debut album this year and has been globetrotting ever since with gigs across the world. Who can forget his killer set at Earthdance a few years back?
Rounding off the psy stage are Anestetic – no stranger to Cape Town dancefloors and DJ Zen from Iono records.
Extrawelt from Cocoon Recs in Germany will headline the Beats floor for sure and they also have Josephine Wedekind from Digital Structures in Germany.
The two wild cards are Tongue & Groove and Nanoplex. Both are very welcome additions who deliver super psychedelic lower BPM grooves – ideal for a hot February summer’s day in Cape Town. These guys could perform on either the Origin stage (psy) or the Beats Floor (tech). We shall wait and see when the set times are announced.
