Summer season is going to be chock-a-block so choosing your next party needs some careful consideration.
But this weekend is a no-brainer for Capetonians who like to mix up their techno, progressive house and trance into one day of banging beats.
I’m sure we could think of plenty more but here are 5 good reasons why we’ll be getting our Wanderlust on this weekend…

Three hours of D-Nox
International techno stalwart, D-Nox is no stranger to Cape Town and for good reason. He simply never plays a bad set and has performed here on several occasions. Something of a purist when it comes to DJing, prepare to be schooled on Saturday. Christian knows how to take a dancefloor on a real journey like only an experienced pro can.
Don’t believe us? Check out this mammoth 5 hour set he played with his production partner Beckers in Hungary last year.

Sunshine and beats
Saturday’s weather forecast is looking mighty good.
With a forecasted high of 29 degrees out in the Stellenbosch Winelands – one of the warmest parts of Cape Town – but with a little cloud cover for good measure, there’s no better way to spend a Saturday.

The lineup
Aside from being treated to 3 hours of techno and progressive house by D-Nox, German progressive giants, Symphonix will close the evening off with their groovy signature trance sound. But let’s not forget the local heroes on duty this Saturday.

Let’s face it, when a seasoned pro like Richard Marshall opens the floor, you just know it’s going to be a day of flawless musical progression.

A party for adults
We’re definitely not one for excluding anybody from having a good time but once in a while it’s nice to know that the event you’re attending is going to be a slightly more mature crowd.
This just elevates the event slightly in terms of people who know the deal when it comes to ‘jolling’ like a pro and also appreciate the music a bit more. There are tons of parties that are packed with 18-20 year olds so it makes a nice change to be have more mature dance floor ‘in da house.’
