Soul Candi artist Euphonik’s For the Love of House Volume 5 grabbed the ‘Best Compilation Album’ at the 2014 Metro FM award on Saturday, the 1st of March.

Metro FM is the largest commercial radio station in South Africa and hosts one of the biggest music awards in the country. These awards are dedicated to awarding South African musicians for their contribution in the music industry. The winner of each category is solely determined by votes cast by the public.

Being the humble melody maker, Euphonik tweeted the following on Friday night (and as a result, he also got some additional love from Culoe De Song):

For the Love of House Volume 5 is best described as a local compilation of international standards, catering to the needs of all house fans. This must have album aims to satisfy all moods and dance music cravings leaving the connoisseurs satisfied and the dance floor addicts begging for more.

Special collaborations to look out for on the album include the likes of local superstars Kris J, KB and Chris Sen while some of the outstanding international tracks incorporated into the album are Chris Malinchak’s ‘So Good To Me’ and Gregor Salto’s ‘Drumology’. This extended version is a definite treat for all followers!

When asked to comment, Euphonik replied: “Love what you do and do what you love. I hope the CD creates memories.”
